I prefer going commando, just because it helps with fertility but also is more comfortable and natural. The 'nads hang down intentionally, but forcing them up against your body is not natural.
As far as thongs, see my answer above. I don't like anything hugging the balls up against the body

a thong on a man just doesn't seem right!...each to their own though. From a woman's view, i would prefer boxers on a guy or for them to be commando, more room to 'hang'!!! lol

I hate thongs. That string between the butt cheeks is very uncomfortable.
I don't like going commando either. No reason, just don't. I prefer my briefs.

Gone commando for years. Girls seem to like it, and to be honest, I've never found underwear that's comfortable, so what the hell, wherever you be, let ya goods swing free!
Just, erm, watch out for zippers, especially the metal ones on Levis, you know, with the big teeth *shudder*. Damn, last time I did that, I bled for hours...
