Why should he? I think Faith's crappy statement only further proves her attitude problem. It's on camera her response, and yet she has yet to directly address her behavior. She behaved like a brat and everyone saw it. People can come to her defense all they want, she needs to apologize the maybe she can redeem herself. And I do believe that she knew she was on camera, however , she also probably thought all the cameras had cut to Carrie. Tough luck Faith!

I didn't even know what you were taking about. I watched the awards but was busy doing stuff around the house at the same time and missed that. I had to go look for it on YouTube to see her reaction. That is crazy! I'll have to go and read what the other celebrities have said in her defense, but it didn't look like she was joking around, she looking purely shocked and angry to me. I am surprised though, if other people have defended her, why Tim hasn't made any statement about it. I will say though, I too am surprised that Carrie Underwood won.
Maybe we can hope that the country music industry shuns her and her and Tim can go even more mainstream like the Dixie Chicks! :) They are better for it.

Faith Hill is a grown woman that has her own successful music career. She needs to let her PR people, agent and lawyer handle the situation and what she should say. To have Tim McGraw make a statement in her defense, would be career suicide (at this point) and an admission of guilt. She did her part and will have to wait until it blows over. IMO, she was clearly serious in how she reacted, body language says it all!

I saw it. It was funny. And she knew she was on camera, because she was back stage after her performance. Plus right after her outburst you see her walking off camera right before they cut away from her. I hadn't heard anything about Tim or anyone else saying anything. But I must have missed it.
It was the kind of Janet Jackson, unprofessional moment.

He probably doesn't want to tarnish his career.. Faith needs to grow up and stop acting like a spoiled brat. Congrats to Carrie for winning :)

He did call in to a radio show here in Nashville the morning after the CMA's. I think it was 98 WSIX, but I'm not positive. It was on the news here that he did call into one though.

She has no defense. It was cruel and rude. Made me think of
the commercial she was in where she got her Big toe caught in
the bathtub faucet. Now she done got her whole foot caught in
it.

Shi**t happens. Stars aren't perfect either. Sometimes we accidentally slip up. Why should he have to defend her now? It was an accident, and it isn't up to him to smooth over every mistake she makes.
