Yessir. One vote here!
One of the WalMart greeters was telling me someone had one of the handicap carts die in the store, he went after it, was pushing it back, and another guy came by and said, 'if you'd bought Chevy instead of Ford you wouldn't be pushing it now!'

I sure do. My chevy's have been the most reliable and best rides I have had.
I have owned a '77 Camaro had to sell sadly.
I have owned a '91 Camaro Z28, 350 mated to a 5 speed. Decent at the track, but I was young and couldn't afford to upgrade it. It was totalled and wasn't my fault.
That bought my '94 Formula Firebird that I still have today. It has a 350 LT1 mated to a T56 6 speed stick. It has a cold air intake, cam, roller rockers, bigger throttle body, aftermarket mass airflow, full exhaust headers back, extensive head work, and needs a new clutch and a new Optispark distributor. Plus I'm putting it in storage for the winter. Hopefully next summer I will have enough for an LT4 conversion or an STS Turbo.
Right now I drive a '05 Chevy Duramax diesel work truck. It's got a small lift with bigger tires and a Power chips programmer.
I'm also driving my personal '95 Chevy K1500. It is pretty much stock except for the exhaust, intake, 32" tires, PIAA fog lights, and a few other upgrades. It has about 223,000 miles and still running strong. You gotta love it.
So in conclusion I think Chevy kicks major ***. Well good luck.
Oh and my first car was an '88 Mustang. I'm glad I made the mistake early and learned my lesson. Wont do that again.

Last year Toyota had the most recalls, but the media "failed" to notice since millions would stand against them because of thier reputation. These days reputation is nothing, technology advances so fast it cant keep up. For ex: three years ago GM was one of the worst companies, now they have the most top-rated vehicles, and the quality/reliability surpasses Toyota. Honda is still on top of the reliability ratings. Ford also had more recalls than GM and DaimlerChrysler combined, for reasons like exploding engines and wheels falling off. Here is a quote from the Washington Posts review of the Toyota CAmry "one of which is the Chevrolet Malibu, which in my real-world driving experience has been every bit as good and reliable as the much-ballyhooed Camry but has been maligned primarily because it is a Chevrolet". Oddly enough that was an '04 Malibu VS the totally redisigned '07 Camry. Common problems with Toyotas are plastic rattling until it falls off. People then complain that when they take it to the dealer to be fixed they just say "The cars are made with so much plastic its practically impossible to fix" GM is also the worlds fastest growing manufacturer, and that dosent happen by accident. GM is on a roll and will break out of the red in a few months, and Ford will just begin to dip in

Chevy hasn't kicked *** in a long, long, long time.
Its funny that you say "except Cadillac" because they have the most technology, quality, and performance across their line of cars than any other GM brand. I would say Cadillac is the only part of GM that is really kicking *** right now other than the C6 Z06.
Camaro's sucked from about 1971 all the way up to about 1999.
Impala's I guess were decent in the 60's, but only for their time. The new ones really blow... even the SS.
Grand nationals are pretty sweet, a good platform to build on.

Well, those folks are definitely out there but there are fewer and fewer of them as the years go by.
I'll be very surprised if GM doesn't finally end up as just another automotive manufacturer - both in terms of its products (already there) as well as its sales (working hard to get there).
