We had already been talking about marriage and looking at rings. I figured once we got the ring he would just give it to me and that would be that. Instead, one night he told me he wanted to take me out to dinner. He had found this place we had never been to - a place that was on the list of the most romantic restaurants in our city. When we were seated the waiter gave me a menu - it took me a minute it was a special menu that listed all my "specials" and at the bottom said, "for all these reasons and more, will you marry me?"
Before I could read the whole thing, he was down on one knee next to me and opened the ring box.
He had also planned for the waiter to bring out two glasses of champagne right after I said yes. It was a really lovely evening. We go to the same restaurant every year on the anniversary of our engagement.

My husband and I met on line, he eventually moved here to be with me. After a few months of spending time together and falling in love with one another, we were both at my house one night and he was on his laptop working and I was spending a few minutes on the computer checking email and all. Next thing you know I got this IM from him and he asked me if I would be willing to spend the next 60 or so years being adored, appreciated and most of all loved by him. It took me a second to realize what he was asking me.....the rest is history. We have been happily married for three years now and it has been great!

We "met" online. We dated for 2 weeks before he proposed, he hinted he would he do it, but he didn't actually say he was going to. We didn't actually meet face to face until shortly before we married. He took a picture of my rings and sent it through an email that was titled, "Will you?"
I said yes. He lived 2,000 miles away from me, and I drove 20 hours to be with him. He took a flight to meet me and help with the drive to his home city. I had alot of trouble navigating the airport and I couldn't find him. I finally saw him in the airport parking garage. I was afraid he wouldn't like me, we hadn't met in person yet. He had a dozen red roses in his hand, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. We've been married ever since.

We did things a little backwards...
My husband had put our son down for a nap and we were enjoying the quiet time when I heard my son crying over the baby monitor. I went in to check on him and he as blissfully sleeping away. Then I noticed his little t-shirt said, "Will you marry my daddy?" with a red ribbon and the ring tied to it! How could I say no?!?
