I doubt it...I mean both teams probably deserve it...but with the way they rank teams...look what happened to West Virginia...#3....lost to #5 Louisville by misfortune...and drop to #10...that's a load of crap...USC lost to an unranked team and only fell to what...#8?

Beings that the Michigan and Ohio State game is their last game of the year it is highly doubtful that the loser would end up in the championship game. The only way that could be feesible is that Texas would loose in its big 12 championship game and Florida would loose in the SEC championship game. Then it is possible. But the way things are shaping up right now expect a rematch of the week two pairing of Ohio State and Texas for the National Title.

Well, I'd say since Louisville lost last night, there's a much better chance of it. There can be a good arguement made that the loser should be better than the other 1 loss teams, considering who they lost to. But it would have to be a very close game, and maybe a few more teams at the top lose to make it likely.

Also, remember 2/3 of the BCS ranking is polls - and if enough people are opposed to a rematch, they'll take the loser (especially if it's Michigan) far enough down that it isn't possible.

If it is a close game, then possibly. But if it is a blowout then no. If Ohio State loses to Michigan, with that being their only loss, I think they will still get in to the National Championship. If Michigan loses their only game to Ohio State, it would be tougher for them to get in.

Yes, they should be.
The rankings/polls are a vote for the best teams, not for what the pollsters want to see/not see.

The loser of "The Big Game" shouldn't drop in the polls below anyone else with 1 loss because their only loss would be to the #1/2 team.

To say that Texas also lost to the #1 team is a joke, they got dismantled by OSU on Sept. 9, at home. They also played bad, and should have lost to Nebraska on Oct. 21.

It depends on what happens elsewhere. If USC finishes with one loss, they'll probably play the Michigan-OSU winner for the title since they have the toughest schedule. However, USC will probably lose one of its remaining games (Cal, Notre Dame, UCLA). If USC loses, but Florida wins out, I think it's more of a toss-up: Between OSU and Florida, I think Florida makes the title game v. Michigan. Between Michigan and Florida it's closer - Michigan did beat Notre Dame, but Florida has had a slightly tougher schedule. Most likely scenario is OSU-Michigan winner v. Florida in the title game.

I sincerely doubt it, it would not be good for national TV rating s for FOX in the national championship game, so I think if the final BCS poll came out with Mich and osu as 1 and 2 the ncaa and fox would mess with the numbers to produce another conference winner.
Seriously.

No, to be eligible for the BCS a team must win its conference. The loser of OSU/Mich will not win the Big-10 championship.

Only if its Ohio State and only if the game is a CLASSIC. They will need a last second lose or a simply great game for the voters to allow a rematch...

Possibly, if the game is evenly matched.
Also, it would help if OSU loses since they would fall less in the rankings.
Other teams, like Florida and Texas have to play poorly as well.
