I wish I had a whole bunch of quotes just waiting so I could copy and paste them like Have Gun Will Travel. Oh wait im not a loser. Anybody can provide quotes from practically any president to prove their point if you look and take them out of context. Get a life.

Wilbur. It is important that you don't let facts get in the way of the truth as you see it. No war is good, but it can be necessary. It is easy to lose sight of the benefits of going into Iraq. It might take years to see how that plays out. I remember all the criticism and complaints about Reagan and his military build up and tough behavior. It took a couple of years, but that lead to the fall of the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall. It also helped kick off a major change in our military and the way that wars are fought. Let the history books reflect on Bush's presidency and don't be too quick to condemn what you don't understand.

While Have Gun's answer points out that other Presidents wanted to attack Iraq, it does not answer the question independently of that fact. Nothing has really been accomplished in Iraq; it is hard to simply create a country within a couple of years, especially without a post-invasion plan.

Well Wilbur could you define the phrase "war of aggression". You go on and spout your nonsense about Bush lying to invade and being responsible for these deaths. You are playing right into their (the terrorists) hands. You might want to start brushing up on your Arabic and Farsi skills.

War is vain for all who participate. We should understand the people of the middle east are taught religion is the final destination of mankind and only "mine" is correct. Its a family style squabble that will continue for them until they choose to educate differently.

I firmly believe that our actions in Iraq has kept the radical muslims (hell-bent on distroying our culture) on the defense.
If we had done nothing after 9/11, we would be having multiple attacks in our country right now.
We must have a presence in the middle east to preserve our country.

so you're basically saying that war does no good b/c people die (a necessity of war)...then i guess no wars do any good under your logic...
tell me what good does doing nothing when people are killing innocent people w/ airplanes & suicide bombs?
