DON'T IT WILL HURT THE FETUS!

situps are NOT recommended during pregnancy.

and they are FORBIDDEN after delivery, for at least six months, as they could lead to damage to stomach muscles.

why don't you accept the fact that you're pregnant, take it easy, don't try to massacre your body (or the baby), irrespective of how fit / lean / mean you were before.

if you're that fit, by the time the baby is 3 months you'll be back to your pre-pregnancy weight anyway, then you can start gym again and will be back in decent shape by the 6th month. Then you can finally go back to your dear situps ;-)

I would change what you are doing instead of sit ups, walking would be better for you. I know you prob have been doing them forever but I think you should change for a while, you could do definite damage to the fetus

Are you crazy? You are not supposed to do sit-ups when you are pregnant. It feels like nothing for me because I have never attempted to do such a dingle berry thing. Sit-ups are for people that want to get rid of their stomachs and I got news for you, you won't be getting rid of yours for another 5 months and it will continue to grow. Jesus Christ! Do you have any sense?!
How old are you?

you are NOT suppose to do situps while pregnant!!! you should be laying flat on your back for extended periods of time either. you can very easily cut off the blood supply through the cord by doing so! talk to your BO/GYN before continuing with your "workouts" your vanity could be hurting your child.

I can't see anyway it would hurt the baby. However, your muscles are being stretched anyway, so it is not brilliant for you.
