What are those little spiky twist things called? They're kind of cool. But otherwise I'd choose cornrows w/ some nice beads.
I'd bet you'd sound cool when you walk.

unless you live in a warm climate, keep the fur and consider it "insulation"....i'd cornrow it as well just to make it appear well tended as opposed to merely neglected......
