Not necessarily it could only mean that you are burned out by some others inability to be genuine and caring the way friends are supposed to be. Who needs snide or annoying remarks or selfish idiots for friends? At least you know where you stand when it comes to pleasing yourself. If some people can get away with it- they will enjoy draining you of any enjoyable moments at all in your life. Who needs that? It is better to have one or two good friends then dozens of fair weather friends. If it is selfish then I am all for being selfish myself.

No... you're not selfish or destined to be a loner. There's certain friends that I don't really like spending time with, but unfortunately for you, all your friends are like that. You just need people who share interests with you, aren't annoying, and have time for you.

I'm afraid too. I don't know why friends become so selfish, locked in own cage. Not willing for out going at all. How to find answer:
Let us hurry to love people, they depart so quickly.
I even consider to just meet someone on net to just exchange the feelings or support each other to make life/friendship make some difference how to deal with the lonely very comfortable life.
I want to join some Cyber to have life talk with very friendly and happy people before I go to work, or after if I really have nothing to do.

Could be that you are a loner...some people are. You might also have reached that time in your life where it is time to move on. Many people grow up with a group of friends but by the time they graduate from high school, most of these groups break up. You will form new relationships depending on where you work, go to school or whatever social activity it is that you do. Or you just might choose to keep to yourself. I have several friends that keep to themselves and I am one of the few people they hang with. Relax and see what the future holds.

The one thing you learn as you get older is that friends are not always for ever.
People change is they get older and sometimes you just out grow each other.

I took the difficult decision to drop one friend after 5 years because he was just too demanding, let me down so many times and any contact with him was a nightmare.

Real friends should be fun to be with and the relationship should be beneficial to both of you in some way.

Don't worry about moving away from these guys, they could be holding you back from finding the real friends you desrve.

Friends come and go in seasons. Sometimes you change and your friends stay the same or vica versa. Very few friends are for a lifetime. It is good that you are spending time with yourself. You are really the best friend you can have. You will make a friend you have a lot in common with, just keep doing things that make YOU happy. :o)

I don't know but I am in the same situation.

Maybe you just need some time on your own until you meet different people with interests more like yours.

In the meantime, don't stress and enjoy the break :)

Hey I think I am the same, I don't mind friends every now and then but most of the time I'm happy when they leave me alone.

They are not bad people, I just can't do with them being around all the time.
