I didn't drink much coffee until I went to University, I would drink tea in my teens.
I had a job for 25 years that included shift work, this made me more dependent on coffee.
Now that I am semi-retired from work, I always start my day with perking a regular size coffee maker with about 10 cups. I usually drink this amount over the day time hours when I stay in.
I tried to stop drinking coffee at one time, I lasted about 3 months, the first coffee back from my self imposed fasting got me hooked again.
Sometimes, I wonder how my wife can get her lift from 1 coffee when she gets up in the morning which keeps her in focus for the whole day. Off course, not everybody is the same which makes life's journey more interesting.

I just bought a vintage Pasquini Livietta cappuccino machine, so on weekends I'm pretty much mainlining espresso from morning until night. On weekdays, I drink brewed coffee before work, because the espresso (despite the name) takes longer to make, waiting for the boiler to heat up, etc. If I ever miss a day of coffee (god forbid) I get a crushing, mind-splitting withdrawal headache.

atleast 8 cups in the morning, everyday. From 6:30am to 9:30am, which would be about every 23 minutes.

daily, I'm one of the few 15-year-olds I know of, but I freakin love coffee! ☺☺☺ Though I prefer drinking it through a straw so it doesn't make my teeth yellow.
