3 months ago i was hired as a temp for the location i am working but they love me and want to make me permanent i know how much they pay the agency and i know how much the agency pays me ...can i ask for somthing in beween when my final papers are signed???...........can i ask for a raise??

I would not ask for a raise. I would however thank them for recognising the importance of my contribution to this company and for offering you permanent employment. After that I would inform them of my salary need and let them decide if they are going to pony up the duckets. They will respect you more because they will see that you have a better grasp on your needs. Good job.

When working with a temp agency, they are usually the ones that negotiate how much you will get paid. When you started working for the agency they asked you how much you made at your last job and what was the lowest you are willing to accept. based on that they will negotiate with the company and get back to you on the figure. And its not like you can quit the agency and then apply for the job because most agencies have a clause where you cannot go back to previous employers that you worked for when with the agency. Try and talk to your recruiter and get them to get you a good deal.

The temp agency generally takes up to 50% of your pay. So you will probably make almost twice as much as you do now. I was paid $13/ hr. through a temp agency and now make $22/hr. Since they like you a lot they will make you a good offer, I'm sure!

The only way to get a raise is to ask. It sounds like you are in a good position to ask.
