US Bank is a bank that strives to provide exceptional customer service. I work at US Bank and know firsthand that pressure is put on the employees to provide the best service they can while following policies and procedures. While people may not always understand these policies and procedures, many of them are federally regulated and they are put in place for the safety of banks, customers, and the country (many were established after 9/11).

No. They say that they have "5 star" service. They don't. They're branch employees are rude and do not know their own rules and regulations. The customer service phone agents are great, but ALL branch employees are spawns from hell that will not do a GD thing for you. I tried to open a savings account there, after having a checking account there for some time. They told me that I would have to come back later because the person that could open accounts was just going into a meeting, and wouldn't be able to help me.
