Yes it is, the funeral will either be this Thurs or Friday, Kieth Sweat is very broken up about it, as they were very close.

He said Gerald was sweet, but he was still very no-nonsense kind of guy, he had just taking a trip to South Africa, 3 weeks ago.
Keith Sweat was looking fwd to hearing all about it, well maybe now Gerald can tell him about it, in his dreams.

Levert passed away due to an apparent heart attack on November 10, 2006. Sources close to the family told Sister 2 Sister magazine that Gerald and his father had just returned from a 10-day trip to South Africa where they had met with Nelson Mandela and were treated with royalty. Upon Gerald's return, he was excited about his upcoming album, which is due early in 2007. Gerald died in his sleep.

He died this morning in his home. He died in his sleep. Wendy Williams reported it this morning. He does have a album coming out in 2007. It still is getting released according to Alantic Records.

I heard that he died this morning of a heart attack. It is true. How sad. He was the bomb. I loved his song, "Pop, Pop Pop Goes My Mind", "It's Written All Over Your Face", and "Kind of Love"
