So is it okay to give it to hin, he's only 2yrs older than me. im 19, he's 21.Were alson in two different states, so I'm really not worried about stalking. Ok, first, He "Says" he's only 2 years older than you. He "Says" you're in 2 different states. He could be 50 and right next door! Friends online is plenty safe enough, if you keep it that way. Stay friends online for a while longer, more than 2 weeks, more like 5 or 6 months. If he doesn't get tired of it, and you want to exchange phone #'s then, at least you have some time in and have a better idea if he's real or not.

I think you should be very careful about giving up any of your privacy. This site is used by all kinds of people, honest and not so. Also, it is so easy to be deceitful and give out false information about yourself, maybe for bad purposes, or it could just be for fun. Two weeks isn't long enough, open another email account perhaps, and take it easy.

BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY.....

Make sure that your cell phone number is unlisted, so that way when you give it to him, or call him, he won't get your real name and be able to use it to track you.

And if he turns out to be a perv or something worse, or a stalker, you can get the number changed and never worry about it again.

I don't know. If you just give them a cell number you should be ok...Be careful tho. I wouldn't tell the person where I lived or give a address. The cell number would be ok

Yeah pen pals are cool. Why would you wanna talk on the phone ? it's up to you if you wanna go into the next level, though.

I'd sure as hell make sure someone else is aware of this and I'd be damned careful. How do you really know how old this person is or whatever. But them I'm a wussy.

I would be real careful. You may have no idea who the other person is on the other side. Be smart about your choices.

Maybe get his number first, you call him (maybe with call block first time) and see if everything checks out, then give him yours.

theres nothing wrong with writing back and forth to a penpal, but when it comes to meeting that person, you should exercise caution
