im sure i connected it right...any ideas ! help x

Check to be sure that you did not accidently bend out of the little wires in the monitor plug. You are sure it is plugged in (gotta ask...)

Also, are you sure the PC itself is actually booting? Are you seeing the lights flash on he keyboard and the CD drive. Can you hear the hard drive loading Windows? If not, you may have knocking one of the cards (video, memory, etc) lose inside the box. You are getting no picture because the PC is not booting.

Is the power cord for the monitor plug in?

Have you check that all the status leds were ON. (Is your computer booting ?) is the led in front of your monitor ON ?

Is your powerbar ON ? Is your breaker switch ON ?

I know this sounds ridiculous but there is always something like that that we forget :P

try another monitor and if it works with the other monitor, if i t works you know that you hooked it up wrong
