Yes tongue piercings are hot!!! But only when used properly if you know what I mean. SORRY to be vulgar but thats my opinion and I dont think they are attractive to look at!

I used to until I found out the dangers of one. I had my tongue pierced and I loved it. But then I found out that it can lead to heat disease. If you have an opening in your mouth (like a piercing) the plaque, your mouth produces naturally, can get into blood stream. Your mouth doesn't have to be abnormally dirty or clean for it to make a difference either way. But if you like it go for it. I just wanted to pass the news on.

Something to consider; the human mouth carries more germs and bacteria than any thing else in the animal kingdom. A human bite can actually be more deadly then a snake or spider bite due to the germs.
With all of that in your mouth, do you really want to have an open area in your mouth to become infected. Ever had an ear ring whole get infected, now imagine that in your mouth (10 times worse).

I'm on the fence. I had mine done, it was the most horrendous pain I've ever suffered...not only at the time, but for at least the next two weeks, I was really pleased with it, so was my boyfriend...but, I kept grinding it on my teeth, and I was worried that it might affect them in some way...and my natural beauty is more important than "artificial" beauty in my opinion, so I took it out. When I see someone with it now, I still think it looks nice though, but it's just not something I would have again.

Tongue piercing is a stupid thing to have done. It's ugly and low-life in our society. Reminscent of primitive tribal New Guinea. Try to rise above it, darling and go for that inner beauty which springs from being a nice person.

Oh my god...i would die for a tongue piercing..I think they are hot hot hot....was all set to have it done...him indoors got all excited which kinda put me off the whole idea...then my dad said that if I had it done he would never talk to me again..so I didn't get it done...and now, he has died, I couldn't have it done cos it would be like disrespecting him....sigh...but yeah....I love em

I think they are pretty cool! Myself, I don't think I would have the guts to have it done but, alot of my friends have them I had a boyfriend once who had his tongue pierced.......that was hot!! Seriously.

No, when someone's talking that has one it's hard to pay attention because of their tongue ring. Also, it looks like getting it pierced hurts really bad.
