its very addictive! the free trial gets you hooked so you will pay to continue.
we have had an account for almost 2 years.
you have to subscribe because
#1) its disney, they are the most money grubbing company around because we'll pay for mickey! They underpay their employees and overcharge their customers... they can get it.
#2) it is an interactive game which means that people from all over the world can log in. There is a huge amount of players, which means it has to be a huge dollar amount to keep up and running.
If you want to play, you have to pay.
Just know that once you stop paying, you lose all of your characters and have to start over.

I don't play but it sounds like a great game..
do you mean they let you try it then you have to pay??just to let you get attached to it??
