yes. this is a sad day for all of us who are his fans.i'm so glad that i got the chance to see him perform inconcert new years eve 2006. he was a true professional with hi shows. he gave more than your money's worth. he had showmanship and charisma.not to mention that gerald is very sexy. he truly will be missed in the music industry. in my opinion in gerald was one of the greatest r&b singer,writers or producers in the last 20 years.
