you know in movies, you see a man go into the bathroom and they show him standing at the urinal, sometimes the scene takes 2 or 3 minuts...and they are usually talking to another guy... GUYS...DOES IT REALLY TAKE THAT LONG TO PEE? i know that when i go to the bathroom, it only takes me like 45 seconds AT THE MOST. why do they always make that scene so long in movies...???....do you have to get up the courage to pee or something...i'm serious...i would really like to know....i know that it only takes a few seconds for my husband to pee (at home...i have never seen him at a urinal..)....so why do they (the film-makers) make the scene at the urinals so freakin long?

Because the point is not the guys peeing, but what they are talking about. They have to make them be doing something. I guess the film guys have no creativity to think of putting them somewhere else to discuss whatever it is they're talking about.

Hmmmmm... my hubby says guys don't talk to each other when they pee and I never noticed that long of a scene in a bathroom in a movie. I think most people only take 30 seconds to pee.. max 45 depending on how much they drank beforehand...lol

My Husband takes FOREVER to pee but it's because his PA hloes are stretched to like a OO & he's gotta make sure he doesn't make a mess :O)

Well, since i am a guy, a guy can hold pee in his bladder a lot longer that girls actually. But in other cases its that they are not really peeeing and just pretending.

It take me pretty long sometimes. I rarely talk to other people when pissing. Some guys may have a swollen prostate and it doesn't flow well.
