Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year.
YES, I suppose there will be many who won't be very thankful:
The Native Americans (for having gotten a bum deal)
The Brits (for obvious reasons)
The Canadians (whose Thanksgiving has already passed)
The Masses of other nations (who could care less, I suppose)
The Soldiers and others (who are away from home and family)
The Turkeys (for being deliciously roasted)
The Homeless/the "untouchables", the socially underprivileged, and the hungry masses of our own country (for sad and obvious reasons)
The hungry Masses of other nations (for painfully watching us devour all the turkeys and stuffing's alone)
The Orphans and those without a family of their own (for sad and obvious reasons)
The people who have lost, or will lose, loved ones on that date (for sad and obvious reasons)
The Republicans (for patently obvious reasons)
The left out foreigners and the exchange students (only those that won't get invited to other people's homes)
The folks that have to go to work and miss out on the fun
The folks who just basically don't give a darn
The folks who lost their jobs or became demoted
The folks who are terminally ill and/or hospitalized
The folks who'll come down with food poisoning for having eaten improperly prepared/cooked meals + Overeaters
The folks who have lost their shirts on bad investments or the stock market
The producers who insist on playing No-Limit Texas Hold 'em (for NOT recognizing their inadequate abilities and limits)
Just a few examples off the top of my head!
P.S. Oh yes, and I almost forgot:
The sad sad souls who have to be subjected to the entire Bible (chapter and verse) shoved into their ears with a loudspeaker for a warm plate of food. Nothing against anyone’s faith, but for crying out loud people let’s not desecrate the human dignity for a lousy plate of turkey and mashed potatoes. Let them folks enjoy their one decent meal a year in PEACE.

Ironically, holidays are often when people commit suicide.
Yeah, I know, I'm gonna get tons of thumbs down.

My mother-in-law because she is a Jehovah's Witness so she doesn't celebrate it..............I will be extra thankful for that though because I don't have to see her that day or break bread with her. yay
