Yes. I am commonly mistaken for a 16 year old, which I guess is a good thing. The funny thing is my hubby is 30 and he looks very much older than me. You should have seen the dirty looks we were given when I was pregnant. People must have thought that this old dude knocked up some young little girl.

When you get old enough to show some silver streaks in your hair and a few wrinkles in the skin people will stop asking for ID. 35 is the magic age. you are old enough that young people respect you but still been around long enough that older people figure you are starting to know something.
Not a very happy outlook is it???
C'est la vie!

i get asked all the time.
im 24 but now they have brought in the rule that if someone looks under the age of 21 i always get asked

i went round asking people who didnt know me how old they thought i were and most people said 19
its a compliment and a pain at the same time.

All the time. I'm a 31 that looks like an 18er.
It bothers because I have a daughter. Therefore no one believes me I once was married, and they tend to point me as easy and wasted. If I didn't have morals, I wouldn't give a damn. But I do.

I remember when I was ten and went with my father to Wal-Mart to purchase a M-Rated game. The cashier asked for his ID, and he was this huge guy with some white hair with crap load of facial hair. He got pissed afterwards wondering why they would ask his ID looking like a 50 yr old. Funny isn't it?

got ID'd for petrol (have to be 16) although I drove up to the station (have to be 17) so I showed them my driving licence (I was 21!)

my friend and I also got ID'd going into a bowling alley when we were both 26 and neither of us had ID on us - we were so shocked we laughed at the guy and he looked embarrassed and let us through!
