Yes, Ray Kroc is the inventor of McDonalds. You should try to check out the book Fast Food Nation from the library, it will tell you a lot.
Also, check if you are spelling it correctly? when you google it.

Raymond Kroc was the person behind McDonalds and if you can to their website, they have a biography on this great man.

You could put his name in a search engine. You should also read Fast Food Nation. There is a section on him in the book.
