you need to stop doing sit ups your not sapposed to be doing that when you are pregnant you can harm your baby and even case yourself to have a still birth so please stop doing sit ups and ask your doctor for exercises you can do when your pregnant

You should not do sit ups when your pregnant, AT ALL! Crunches are allowed, but only until your 4 months along, and then you should not do ANY exercise that has you lie flat on your back. You should consult a doctor for an exercise routine that's safe, because your's isn't. My doctor gave me a list of do's and don't and I read a couple books on pregnancy exercise, and they all have the SAME thing to say. You might have caused some damage, you should go to the doctor to double check things.

There are acceptable excercises to do in pregnacy and some you should avoid. you should definitely be avoiding sit ups during pregnacy.............Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.

I would say this is normal and How do I know this cause my wife was one that like to work out and she didn't want to lose her shape so she was doing the same thing sit ups and she started to get them same pain so she called her doctor and told her about it and guess what she said STOP doing that was okay at first but you are and your body is changing and there are some things you need to understand and listen to your body.

absolutely NO exercises that involve anything to do with your tummy should be done while you are pregnant. you could very well lose your child by doing them. some could be done but definatley not anything with the tummy or running. you should definately STOP them now, like right now!!!
