Low-flow will save on water. That might be a concern depending on where you live.

ADA-compliant toilets sit a little higher off the ground, I think, so they're easier for tall people to use.

The two are not mutually exclusive, There are high pressure, low flow ADA compliant units. Although the water itself is never wasted, the energy spent to clean it and pump it to your house is. Low Flow is the way to go! If you are really interested in water savings, there are 8 oz flush and and waterless toilets on the market, they have come a long way from the original outhouse or latrine! Here are some good links to check them out, and Good Luck!

while saving water does sound like a good idea, i wouldn't recommend it while trying to get rid of human bodt waste. Get a low flow, you're gonna be flushing and cleaning more. The standard toilet will get the job done right the first time - i would imagine the low flow is cheaper but u either pay now or later

Well if you like to sit on the toilet with your feet off the ground, get the ADA toilet, otherwise you'll have to go with the low flow models.

Not all low-flow toilets are water saving. If you have to flush twice, where's the savings?

what a bunch of -------, never mind! You can't "save" water. It is not used up, just recycled. You will love the ADA, and you will appreciate not having to flush twice because of low water flow.

Go for low-flow. Saving water is always a good idea.
