Hi
Both carpet are good

Carpets that are made with manmade fibre are made to repel dirt and stains this is a good carpet if you have kids and you spill a lot of food type stains. This type of carpet cleans up fairly easily and you can use harsher soaps to clean it.

Carpets made with natural fibre are longer lasting carpets but stains tend to soak into the fibre and are harder to remove stains. These carpet are sensitive to higher PH soaps (carpet spotters).

Just remember what 'Man-Made' means - it is plastic, a petroleum product. At some point down the road it will be garbage.

Some of the plastics used in carpet release VOCs which are poisonous.

Natural is always best! Good Luck!

Manmade carpets repel stains and clean better. Natural fiber, such as wool, feel softer and warmer on the feet. Take dyes better and are generally prettier. (Oriental rugs) I prefer hardwood floors with oriental rugs, making sure some of the hardwood shows. Also have a white wool rug I love.
