after trs of deep denial, i have come to realise that i am transsexual. thing is, i have lodgers who happen to work in my place of employment but o nights or 12hr shift pattern. my question really is, how do i be me - ie dress femininely and not have work know of my other identity - yet?

just be yourself hon it's not all about clothes. After i chose to undergo gender reassignment i had to do the same with some of the people i have to work with, although there's no easy way to tell people, i thought their gonna find out at some point and Rather it be embarrassing it's best to tell them now it was fine and still is infact things are no different to how they always were. If they have a problem with anything, well that's their look out at least your being true to yourself, and that's what i all boils down to at the end of the day. GOOD LUCK :-)

I don't know the specifics, but...is the living situation temporary? if so, just work on moving things along I guess. Failing that, if you're not ready to talk to these people about it (which is VERY understandable; it sounds like this is kind of new to you?), do you have any personal space in your home? I share a VERY small apartment with two other people, but we all have our bedrooms to ourselves when we want "alone-time" for any reason. It's not great, and it's not how things should be, but it might be better than nothing.

I agree with the above to have a chat with them but don't fool yourself that this is going to be easy.

There is no way they will not tell somebody, it's just going to be a question of time before it gets to your place of work so you have time to prepare yourself for it.

They may not do it intentionally but they may tell a girlfriend, or a mate, or just find it impossible to keep in.

No chance of you getting a place of your own?

Anyone with a brain shouldn't really be bothered how you dress but what i want to know is how did you "come to realise" your a transsexual? did you wake up one morning and say "good god, I'm wearing a bra"

Bit of a crazy situation that one , suggest you ask them to give you a rota of their shifts then do what you want to do in between. Give them time to get to know you as a person/friend then decide if you think you can trust them enough to be open about your sexuallity. But to be quite honest I'd get rid and be able to be myself in my own home, even if it meant moving to a smaller place.

May God help you! You need to understand that a "Loving God" in the person Jesus Christ is there to reinstate your man hood. You only need to sincerely ask. You will remain in denial if you do not shake yourself out of the false dream you are in and stand up to either man hood or woman hood but God did not make you both or a mixture of both or a Heinz 57 being. Get a "REAL LIFE" and be who God had you born as and FORGET all the other crap and false prophets telling you these demonic things.

It's not just about "dress," is it? This is kind of like "prayer in school": Your thoughts are your own, babe! (so far!)
