Check your government standards on maternity. This would be your best bet. You cannot, however, sue them for discrimination, you can sue them for wrongful dismissle.

If you do not have sick leave left, yes. Every pregnant women feels like crap, part of working when pregnant is just putting up with it while at work, or biting the bullet and not working mornings or at all.
not coming in when you're supposed to work because of morning sickness is exactly the same as missing work repeatedly for any other reason.
You can try getting a doctors note to excuse you from work for a few days, but typically this doesnt help much. employers need workers to stay in business.
Take 25ml of vitamin b6 three times a day. It does wonders for morning sickness.

It depends on a variety of factors such as how many employees the company has, how long you have been working there, and whether or not the insurance your company provides offers maternity benefits. You do normally have to opt-in to maternity benefits. You are gaurenteed no more than 12 unpaid weeks under FMLA IF) You have been on payroll for 12 months and IF) your company employs more than 50 people within 75 miles of the work site. The rest of it boils down to your individual company.

No I don't think they can fire you because of pregnancy complications. You need to check with your own state laws Also if you work for a small company like under 50 employees things can be different too.

if you don't call in. It depends on the work too. when it comes to morning sickness it isn't a federal law saying your work can or can't fire you. Check with the human resource at your work. and check with the state too. but as far as i know they certainly can.

I wouldnt think you would get FIRED. If your boss is a woman Im sure she will understand it better than a man. You will probably have to have a doctors note for it.

it depends on how long. you have the family medical leave act on your side so i would look it up. if they do fire you you could probably get them for discrimination.

If you can't perform your job you can be let go of your duties, regardless of pregnancy. It isn't discrimination if you can't do the work.
