My favorite Christmas tradition actually occurs on Christmas Eve, when we celebrate the Feast of the Seven Fishes; it truly is the one time that we gather as a family. We put more emphasis on the value of family over the value of gifts. It’s a value that’s been passed down throughout the generations, something that more families could use.

My favorite family tradition is the Saturday after Thanksgiving, my entire family, mom, dad, sisters, brothers, uncle, aunts, and cousins all gather at my grandparents house, and decorate their tree. Their tree is always the first to go up.

Every Thanksgiving, my family gets together and we eat and play games, but at the very end we draw names and whoevers name you get, that is the person you have to get a Christmas present for. Then, at Christmas we exchange gifts.

well...I enjoy everything, but the tradition has changed over the last 2 years because I got married and my brother moved out...but one thing that hasnt changed is on Christmas morning we were never allowed to just open the gifts. We always had to open them one person gets one gift, then the next...that way you see what everyone got. It usually took over an hours to open gifts but it was so much fun to actually see everyone enjoy ehat you got them.

Three kings day. It's on january 6. We get presents just like the Xmas day and is like an extended Xmas. We get to stay overnight at my moms on the eve, bring our shoeboxes filled up with grass for the "camels" and sleep wherever we find room at mom's. All us three siblings with our respective spouses and kids. Then in the morning we open our presents. Is beautiful.
