13 year olds usually don't listen to many cool bands.They are in that stage where they listen to whatever everyone else is listening to. They haven't grown into individuals yet. But, from what I know, a lot of 13 year olds seen to like Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance,Good Charlotte, and pretty much any other 'band' that has 'hot guys', as for male 13 year olds, Anything metal.

30 Seconds To Mars, the Pink Spiders, Bullet For My Valentine, Boys Like Girls, Aiden, Saosin, Underoath,... I was 13 until a couple months ago, so my taste hasn't changed.

I would think most list to punk or rap though which is not always a band, but a single person. Like Eminem for one
