if so what was the craziest thing you got hit with and why?
my mother once threw a remote at me luckily i dodged it but the bateries flew and hit my leg! really painful
and classic belt from daddy for geting a bad call from my teacher

my dad beats very often , i got hit with one of thoose walking can things which almost broke my arm , belt is very usual , also shoes are easy to use , lol , i got a big shtray thre at my head , good thing it didnt leave much of a scare lol , there was this one time i was with him at one of his construction sites and he hit me with a very thin metal beam..he didnt put a lot of force on it , so i got away with a nice red line on my thigh and a limp.....plus a million other things ..a million plastic hanger got broken on my back as i was hit with them........and wellll , the reasons are always not worth the punishment , he overeacts ...but i dont blame him its just the dumb way he was raised

Once a hairbrush because it was the closest thing my Mom could grab. That hurt really bad.
I think I would have a hard time spanking my own children (if I had any) because of the way I was spanked when I was growing up. I think that a lot of times it would have qualified as abuse.

I was beaten mercilessly as a child. I would get 20 - 30 lashes with the belt buckle end on a weekly basis. My "crimes" - just normal kid stuff. I, however, have turned out to be a good member of society. I don't kill unnecessarily and only for good reason.

wow I was constantly spanked for all kinds of crap when I was young - but I never got spanked for the same thing twice! **(I was just REALLLLY creative about getting in trouble!) :) I was a really mean Lil freckle faced youngin! But I turned out very well! Guess I was the only hell my momma ever raised! (to coin a phrase)! Luckily we can all laugh about it now at family gatherings!

My Dad told me to leave the neighbor's weeping willow tree alone. I forgot and left the vines I pulled of the tree on our front porch. He whipped my legs with them. I never forgot again! I left that tree alone!
I was spanked, I spanked my kids. There is a difference in spanking and beating you children. I feel spanking is good for kids. Kids today are so wild and part of the reason is because parents are afraid to spank their kids!

Once my mom was going to spank me with rubber spatula (she was in the middle of doing the dishes) and when she went to spank me, the rubber flew off and I ran a way.

The most tramatic for me was when I was younger and mouthed off to my mother she pointed her finger right in front of her and told me to "get over here!" SHe kept pointing and when I finally got over there she smacked me across the face. Not hard, but it was unexpected so it scared me and I (tried) not to talk back again! I got spanked plenty of times growing up, and I turned out fine. Not that spanking in my opinion is the best form of discipline, but you better believe when I eventually have kids old enough, they will get their butt whooped when they are out of line!
