Did you see that? Me too!?

Question

There are always questions about ghosts and their existence on here. This question isn't meant nastily, it's just something I think everytime people ask about ghosts.

Have you ever heard of a ghost siting where more than one person has seen a ghost at the same time? I haven't and that's why I'm sceptical. I always say that I'd love to believe but until more than one person see something at the same time these events are too explainable in connection with the human brain and how people react in certain situations.
For example, my Mother saw her own Mother a week or so after she had died. I think it was just that my Mum's brain couldn't accept she'd gone at that point and gave my Mum an image of her walking along a path she always took to help ease my Mum's pain at the time.

Any 'multiple sightings' stories (links would be nice) or any thoughts about this?

Thanks to all so far. I don't actually mean repeat sitings at different times. I mean a number of people seeing something at the same time.

I was sitting on the couch, my daughter was laying on the floor, and my other daughter was sitting on the other couch when we were all watching T.V that faced the front of the living room. I noticed something pass the doorway in the hall on my right side. I didnt think twice about it since it was day time and figured it was nothing until when the commercial came on and my daughter who was laying on the floor said "Mom I thought I saw some one walk into your room" I jumped up and said "You saw it too?" Thats when I started believing in stuff like that, when my daughter who was14 at the time, out of nowhere said she seen what I thought I seen but didnt say a thing

Yes i have seen a ghost at some stage of my life. I do believe that they exist. I believe that phantoms and spirits exists too. It is kind of weird because it can seem as if it is an illusion, just like what you said there how the human brain reacts in certain situations. I do think those are illusions, but there is a line between illusions and seeing something which is real. I believe your mum did had an illusion because she might not be over the fact that her mum died. I get illusions from things i dont want to see, its annoying and confusing.

A good book to read, if you can find it, is the history of the Royal Paranormal Society, which was set up in Victorian times to prove or disprove the existence of ghosts. It is a fascinating read, and they discovered that most ghost sightings are tricks played by the mind.

...and there is also a phenenmon known as mass hysteria, where several people in a group have the same hallucinations. So how could you ever know? I have had the feeling of my father's presence many times since he died. Maybe it is mystical/ superstitous & maybe not. I feel peace when I sense it, & that is enough for me. Trying to identify exactly what it is only ruins the experience.

Haven't you ever watched 'Ghost Hunters' on the Sci Fi Channel? The TAPS crew sees things fairly regularly. In small groups AND on tape.

YES I HAVE MANY PLACES HAVE GHOSTS WHERE MULTIPLE PEOPLE CLAIM TO SEE THE SAME IMAGE .SUCH AS THE TOWER OF LONDON WHERE PEOPLE CLAIM TO SEE THE GHOST OF A BEHEADED QUEEN .....I BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE WHO SUFFER TRAMATIC OR BRUTAL DEATHS LEAVE THEIR PRESENCE OF WHAT THEY FELT AND HOW THEY DIED AT THE SCENE OF THERE DEATH...I COULD BE WRONG AS I'VE NEVER BEEN IN A HAUNTED HOUSE OR HAVE PERSONALLY SEEN A GHOST..AND DONT KNOW HOW I WOULD HANDLE IT......BUT I DO BELIEVE IN THE AFTER LIFE AND GHOSTS .......

i am very open minded though until i actually saw what i believe was a spiritual being had been quite skeptical too.
i think the reason
why only one person at any one time sees these things is because i dont think we're supposed to be able to know what actually happens after death. its a kind of spiritual forbidden mystery.

My dad always has stories about stuff, he told me that when he was younger him and 2 of his sisters seen a banshee in a neighbours garden, and a few nights later a boy in the family died.

There have been many sitings of the same apparition in places, check the library for the history of sitings, what they are and where they are.

To add, there have been sitings by more than one person at a time - a whole group have witnessed such apparitions.

yes, my papa died in his room, the people that bought the house, swore, his ghost is there, she doesn't smoke, but can always smell smoke in the room, he hadn't smoke for 10 years before he died, she said she can sense him beening in the room. She is not scared, said it was a friendly spirit, also heard music in there, and none playing.
