Why are so many girls hard to be friends with?

I have a question for anyone to answer

Why are so many girls hard to be friends with? Lately, I have found that most of the girls I’ve been around are: a. condescending b. rude c. judgmental d. mean

Throughout my life (I’m 25) I have felt that it is easier to be friends with guys – I seem to meet guys easily and get along with them, talk to them... (not romantically/sexually either – I have had a boyfriend for the past 6 years and I always put that out there right away)
But making friends with females has not been easy – finding other cool, chill women to be friends with is tough – most have been really self-centered…and I’ve had an open mind and put effort into friendships. (not to say that I don’t have any female friends – but they are few) I know that many people have lifelong female friends, who are very supportive and kind and positive.

Any comments? I would like any kind of response – has anyone had this same problem? And recommendations? Constructive criticism?

ur so right!!!! I feel the same way...theres no real answer to that either but most guys arent nearly as judgemental as girls are so that may be a reason why guys are much easier to get along with

I think the main reason is their all Beotch's (I know I know Im a girl too) But I only have two friends both girls, not very judgmental.
I mean All girls are mean (ever watched Laguna Beach) but anyways, their very kaniving and rude, I think its easier to be friends with guys than girls, cause if you said something like that shirt doesnt look good, the guy would wear it just cause u said something and they wouldnt get pissed but u say that to a girl she
ends up saying something about what ur wearing(just an example) All Im saying is there are some girls that are really good friends but guys are easier to befriend b/c they really dont care. (No offence guys) Hope it helps,

I agree with you 110%! I'm in college myself and I really can't stand my own gender at my age. Guys are a more fun to hangout with. The girls my age, younger and older are conceited, mean, rude, fake, stupid/ditsy, and just...um...immoral! I'm not trying to judge or anything...but..they are...and most parents/adults will tell you the same thing. But I do have two lifelong friends though, but I've always enjoyed having guy friends in general more...and I find few people my own gender who are good friends and good people...but maybe its just the age?

UR are right i want more friends *** guys but the guys im freinds with the girls are fighting over him Ug and girls all they do is get jelouse like one of my friend thinks shes the hottest girl in the world but she isnt they juss like her *** all they see i see guys stare at her *** and she back stabs and guys they are easy

we are catty and that i assume ladies think of "the hot chick" might scouse borrow their thunder. in case you come back off incredibly friendly, they're going to look at you like you're leave out Suzy Sunshine and wont wanna cope with you. merely attempt to discover ladies that have comparable hobbies and simplicity your way right into a convo. Take it sluggish and enable them to heat as much as you. good good fortune!

some women get along better with men cuz other women are jealous...plus high cschool ends and everyone moves around. my best friend is far away...church groups or volunteer work can help. ppl are just so busy
