The theories of life based on an afterlife, supernatural entities, and other superstitions spring forth from our primitive limbic system.. This is the last remnants of our reptillion past where our raw emotions and religious beliefs spring forth.

The cerebral cortex is a more recent development, here springs forth our logic and rational thinking....and is where our atheistic theories of life spring forth.

i think though our own first hand experiences and the way we are brought up probably reflects your attitude to life and in turn develops your theories. my basic theory is that life proceeds like the ying yang, everything will eventually even out into a perfect balance, thats why when im down im not too down cos i think the balance has to swing back..............
