Seeing as how my truck was taken by my wife and girlfriend, me and Lou (he's my best friend) went down to Jack's , "Just trust me" easy credit used car lot. I wanted something big. Big back seat mainly cause I tend to entertain the ladies a lot. Plus Ole Ernie (that's my dog) likes to bounce around a lot when we drive. Can't have him in the front seat any more since the last time I did he got all wound up in the steering wheel and I ran into a UPS truck. Anyway, Lou sees this old Caddie on the lot. Some cruiser. Man, the ladies are going to go for that. Big ole back seat. A lot better than the bed of a pickup. Softer too. So I pony up the cabbage to Jack, easy terms on the ballance, and wheel on out the lot. Lou's ridin shootgun and Ole Ernie got his head out the window, tongue out and slobbering everywhere. Good times. Just then the drive shaft and back axle fall off, bounce down the street and smash into the Piggly Wiggly store window. This ever happen to you?

Well not in the same way LOL. But i had just got first car unfortunatly it was used and it was a 94 saturn and the guy we had purchased it from was being some what of a mean person cause i couldnt get the car the same day so each week my friend put down $100 dollars just to keep the car on his lot so by about the end of 2 weeks i was able to put down $400 and he put down $600 {good friend} well anyways i made the owner sign some form stating if anything happend to the car within 6 months he was going to have to fix it.. yeaa well my first problem started with the wheels i dont know what happend there but it didnt cost that much than the second problem was the alternator by than i decided to go back down to the owner cause i knew my car wasnt going to last well luckily for him he killed himself 2 days earlier so i was S.O.L than my car took a crap on me and havent been able to drive it but to solve problems like that what you might want to do is make the dealership/ owner sign something saying if anything goes wrong with the car that he has to pay for it or fix it. get his license number and stuff because for one your dealing with a used car and for two its just an easy deal to get off the lot and make money. Good Luck and i hope it dont happen again

Nope... strangely enough none of that ever happened to me.

My old law firm once acted for a guy who bought a car without test-driving it... he handed over the cash and the seller said he'd drive it round to his house for him. When the guy gets home the car is already there and waiting... it had been delivered on the back of a truck. And for one very good reason... it had no engine!

Never trust a car lot owner named Jack...esp if they have a cadillac that looks too sweet to be true. He saw you coming baby. And yes, its happened to me. I bought a used Honda from a shady car lot salesman. Only thing he didn't count on was me bringing the ex husband along who just so happens to be a certified Master Honda Tech. I was fully aware of the issues with the car before I asked him what he knew about the car. Man was he full of sh*t!!!! Anyway, we talked him down seeing how I was going to have to put a little money into the car--and after I made the sweet deal I let him in on my little secret. The look was priceless. That was over 4 yrs ago...still driving my little Accord. Over 200K on it and she purrs like a newborn kitten.

Only when I let my wife pick out the car. She picked a 1960-61
Corvair and it broke down before the temporary tags even expired

No, but I had a friend who bought a car that had been in a flood. The car sales place did not tell her this and she spent thousands of dollars trying to repair the car, which was basically not repairable.

Yes the engine blew up 36 days after my ex husband bought it. Someone had glazed the hole in the piston. They never fixed it.

Never EVER get a used Hyundai. Hyundai probably means "huge pile of dog s---" in Korea or wherever it comes from.
