Hi Dolly,

There is a code of professional conduct set down by the Law Society. The solicitor must act in a professional manner at all times and work in the best interests of his client when taking instructions.

If he acts in any way inappropriately he could find himself before a disciplinary hearing of the Law Society and could be disqualified from practising law.

If you know that the allegations you are stating are true and you are a victim or know of victims and they are prepared to come forward and make a complaint then do so with urgency.

This type of behaviour with clients is unacceptable and must be stopped.

I hope this helps.

Good luck.

Let the buyer beware!

I disapprove of his methods, but then again I'm in no danger of falling prey to him or someone like him. Maybe he's sort of cheating; well, look at it this way: Knowing what you know about him, is there anything wrong with you ratting him out? I mean really-- think about it.

Where you can prove this, even on one occasion, then you can get him struck off.

Go do it, one less solicitor is a good idea.
