right now i'm obsessing over the playstation 3 and some article said that it's worth 73,000 yen so i'm curious!

It's going to be roughly 599$ when it comes out... but, the system itself is going to be a bust. They actually put ps2 parts into the ps3 so it would play all of the old games... these will cause the machine to overheat regularly. The launch titles are going to be terrible... and the system's graphics and specs aren't going to be that different (better than) from the xbox 360... ultimately, you'll be able to do more with a 360 anyways... of course, it's your Yen... just spend it wisely... I'd hate for you to be disappointed.

73,000 divided by 117.64 yen.. and thats how much it is in dollars.
