If you get really bad cramps, try tylenol or Midol, and lay down with a heating pad. If you don't have to go out, don't bother. Curl up in your PJ's and watch a great movie. You might feel like just snapping at anyone who passes by, so try not to be around anyone who might aggravate you, you could end up saying something you regret. Also, try getting some exercise. Even just walking around the mall for an hour will make you feel good. Try not to overindulge in a lot of chocolate or chips or whatever you might be craving. It won't do your skin any good, but don't totally deprive yourself. Just curl up, relax and try not to bite your friend's head off when they say you're hair is a mess!!

The only surefire way to deal with PMS that I know of is birth control (pills, like Kariva). A lot of teenage girls are prescribed birth control to deal with the symptoms. In fact, I know a ton of girls that were prescribed birth control pills by a doctor around the age of 12. It is known that the birth control helps reduce cramping, soreness, breast tenderness, etc. It also helps to regulate periods and control acne. You can go on webmd.com for more info.

I agree with Beach Crazed. I know how horrible I am, and I really just try to stay away from people and do my own thing. It's not fair for everyone else!

If you're on the pill, it gets rid of cramps and most PMSing, usually. Although if you're young but not having sex your parents might not approve.

Bubble bath and a good book, sweetheart :-)

I've found that with PMS, it's better just to be alone during that time..otherwise it can get ugly!

Yes. Lock yourself away somewhere so no one else has to deal with it.
