I work with them all week and cant stand some of them. I really just dont feel like being around them on the weekends. I also dont want to hurt anyones feelings by telling the truth. i would really appreciate any help.

Just say you don't want to go? Why do you need an excuse? Theres no way I personally would ever waste my money or vacation time going on a vacation with people I work with. A vacation is supposed to get you away from all that. I would use my vacation time for myself, or for family, or to go somewhere of my own choosing. Theres a lot of reasons NOT to go so pick one.

Is this a company sponsored mandatory thing? Otherwise there is no reason for you to go at all. Just say you have other plans.

I would love to go, but I promised myself that I would do......(fill in).....and I have to make sure that I do it.

you can also say you have a wedding to attend that weekend.
