On the audio tape made available on militant Web sites, the al-Qaida in Iraq leader also welcomed the Republican electoral defeat that led to the departure of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld. He added that the group's fighters would not rest until they had blown up the White House.

If we are fearful approximately distant places reaction inspect the information memories from CBS and CNN concerning the Democratic victory in the midterm elections. This "thumping" because of the fact the President stated because it, is definitely deserved and long late. somewhat of giving voice to the obtrusive, alongside with Al Qaeda's reaction, (and who incredibly cares what they think of?) it could be prudent to verify what our allies are saying approximately it, do not you think of? it form of feels to me if all people does not "get it", that's a brilliant component of the Republican occasion.

"A great victory for the Iraqi resistance. Even Bush admitted so by sacrificing the tyrant Rumsfeld on the alter of the Democrats sweeping victory. This is further proof of our just cause and that tyranny will be defeated." - Ibraham Shammari, Islamic Army in Iraq

Scary, scary stuff.

Wow. You have massively misquoted the news article that it's funny.

Al-Qaeda announced that is has been winning the war faster than expected. That's the quote from the news article. Look at the timing -- the've BEEN winning, which means over the past few months, if not years....

The new Democrats are not in office yet. Only 30 House seats changed parties, which is less than 10% of the House. So, how exactly can you interpret a quote that talks about their activity during the PREVIOUS Congress, and claim it has anything to do with the election a few days ago? Are you really that brainwashed?

Not to mention that according to the news article, there is no way to verify the source of the quote, or even if that person has any authority. But that aside, even Bush made the comment that a win for the Democrats is a win for Al-Qaeda, so how is it surprising that people who hate America as much as Bush does have started quoting him to sow even more dissent?

Sour grapes!

Dems are in control now, thank whatever deity you chose to believe in.

If you're retared enough to believe Iraq had anything to do with 9-11, and maintain that this illegal invasion was a "just cause" then I just take solace that the fascists have been silenced and bush has no more power.

How many military officials and advisors have to come out and say they warned bush and his flunkies this was a bad idea and would spur more terrorism? This has to end.

Good riddance Republican control, good riddance Rummy.

Yes, the world is coming to an end now that the democrats have taken power.

Run for the hills, run for your lives!!!

Please let president Bush stay in power once his term is done! Only He can protect us from those evil, freedom hating terrorists.
