hi,does any one know how to fix a tumble dryer band?i have a new band for it but not sure how to fix it..its a hotpoint

Open Up the back(Making Sure them Mains are Unplugged)
There should be a Metal arm with the belt on it and a Bolt that tensions the Metal arm.
Loosen the Bolt,slip off Old belt.
Put on new Belt-Tension and Tighten Bolt Firmly!
That should do it!

remove rear cover, slide old belt over and around drum, then follow diagram on pully area for proper placement of belt around pullys

ask a friend or sumthing coz its really hard to try nd say how to fix it when u cant really see it
