first $500 is a good price
2nd osiris, morgan, kookai are good makes
3rd for are girlfreind you should get her a plated one (not fabricated)
4th don't get something to big or tiny
5th make sure it has at least 4 lines on (representing the numbers)because she will want to be able to use it to tell the time aswell

and 6th to help you pick out a nice watch make sure you ask a lady at the store to help you and don't just go for the one they like best choose the one you like best - she will probably just find you the dearest one

7th don't tell the shop your budget

and finally keep the recipet just incase your g/f dosen't like it

I like the Michelle Watches. The bands are interchangable, and the faces of the watches sporty or dressy. You can change the watch easily by switching out the band. I have the chrono one (with diamonds around the edges, square face $1,400). IT IS A GREAT watch but more expensive b/c of the diamonds. Check out Nordstroms or Neimans. They sell them with or w/o diamonds. Prices go from a couple hundred to 10k.

Deauville watches are beautiful and very feminine. they have a thin strap, and i suggest getting one that is black and has gold lines for each hour and a sparkly diamond-looking thing for the 12 o'clock hour. i got this one for christmas last year from my parents and i can't tell you how many compliments i get on it (i'm obviously a girl, and this means it's a very good watch and she'll love it. trust me)

I would go to a jeweler and get her a watch from Citizen or swatch. Get something with a skinny band. It gives it the "Feminine" look.

the cute little fabricated ones are cute or got to a jewerly store and then buy her a diamond watch and the clerks can help with your dilema.
