Almost any properly sized, by-pass humidifier will do. Depending upon the mineral content in your water supply, you may have to put a new pad in every 1-2 years. There is also a little screen and an orifice (little plastic washer with a teensy hole in it) that are located in the solenoid-operated water valve that may require periodic cleaning. The humidifiers that hold a few inches of water in the bottom of them (reservoir type) are taboo - slimy stuff grows in them and they are more costly because they have motors in them (By-pass types don't). Good luck.
