In Runescape, which is the best type of sword to use?? Scimitar, Long Sword, or 2 Handed sword?

Scimitar: Speed - Fast; Power- Medium
Long Sword: Speed - Slow; Power - Medium
2-Handed Sword: Speed - Very Slow; Power - Very High
^^ none of them really stands out from the rest its all a matter of how you prefer to play(personally I use the 2H sword for the high dmg, but I'd rather use a Scimmy b/c of the excellent speed)

i personally use scimitars. scimitars are weaker then long swords but faster, and long swords are weaker then 2h but it is faster then the 2h

2h's generally cost the most money, but each weapon is good for a different purpose. in the game, i currently have a Rune Scimmy, which is great for the Slash (strength) move.
i recommend the rune scimmy if you're into runes, if not, the 2h's are great. the longswords are alright, but the others have the most power.

well if your a free player rune scimitar would be the faster wep
if your a member whip would be better

im lvl 47 i have a rune 2h(2 handed)sword and its the best
