How about reading the book of Tipping the Velvet, or The Fingersmith. They are written by Sarah Waters and are both fantastic and really easy to read and get into. Sarah Waters has also written Affinity and Night Watch. Affinity is a great book but is very depressing as it is set in a prison. The Night Watch is probably her best book and is so clever in how it is written, it starts at the end and works back to the beginning and although youy already know WHAT happens you really want to find out WHY it happened and how the characters developed to be who they are. All of Sarah Waters' books are about lesbians.
I really hope the BBC make Night Watch into a show.
Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith are cheap on DVD from play.com
I loved Sugar Rush too. I hope my sister buys that on DVD (she is a huge fan) so I can watch it.

I don't think there are any lesbian shows on TV at the moment although I hope something good comes along soon!
(I think Xena is on the sci-fi channel if that counts).

Yeah, I'm waiting for the L Word too.

Although it is technically a teen show, I have been watching South of Nowhere. The main character is Spencer, a 16 girl who discovers she is gay, and now has to face all the complications of accepting her gayness, coming out etc. There are other characters and storylines, but mostly it revolves around Spencer.

One movie I suggest If you haven't already seen it, is Saving Face. Poignant and funny. It's really good.
