ok, so today I was supposed to sleep over at my friends house cause my parents have to go to this dinner party in San Diego and they need me to sleep over at someones. So when I asked my friend a few days ago if I could sleep over at her place she said yes. But when I called her today to check what time I should come over it turns out someone else is sleeping over so I cant. See, the thing is, before I was gonna come over, this other girl was gonna hang out with her, but now shes sleeping over. AND, i even asked that other girl is she was planning on sleeping over first, incase I needed to find someone else, because I didnt want to intrude. I have every riht to be mad dont I?

save a distant, it is possibly the ultimate answer. Even you be attentive to a thank you to declare she considers you as a decrease back-up, a rebound while there is not any one around. that isn't seen a friendship, or maybe whether it is, it is not any longer one properly worth your attempt in saving it if she does not participate. And from what you're saying, i'm unclear she would be waiting to even attempt. you're lots extra effective, extremely. no person merits to be shoved and step throughout that way. If she can not pay attention to you with out shoving unfaithful words on your mouth, it is ultimate to maintain an quantity of distant between you the two till now drama unfolds. i does not be shocked, the two, if she's doing her little 2-face scheme and trashing you at the back of your decrease back. individually, i does not even evaluate saving this pathetic, ineffective friendship. Why provide once you under no circumstances get carry of? it is selfish, sure. yet with a friendship, a real pal could continuously return a listening ear or a comforting presence. She can provide no longer something.

Well, if this is a case where someone is to be watching over you while your parents are away, then yes. Perhaps the friend didn't ask her parents in a way that would suggest you needed to be looked after. If that were the case, the parents wouldn't allow another friend to take your spot. My guess is this friend didn't even ask her parents.

You have every right! You ought to confront both girls and ask them what's going on, you asked first which gives you priority. Explain to them that this was not just a slumber party they were ruining but a serious issue, as now you have no where to go. Have you sorted that, because you have to tell your parent, they can't leave without making sure you're safe. Wish you all the best

your friend sounds lame. thank god we all grow up and mature away from that kind of petty behavior. you should call your friend out not by being mad, but by saying "hey that hurt my feelings" and see what they have to say for themselves. beyond that, know that when you get older- you'll look back and say "thank god" Women don't really act like that anymore. (although a few still do) in general that "Mean Girl" thing kinda dies out after high school. I wish you all the best. RISE above it all and be honest about your feelings.

Eh, kinda. Why don't you ask if you BOTH can sleep over? Your parents might get upset if they need to call a sitter, but remember, this isn't your fault at all. Ultimately, the responsibility is on your parents, so don't feel bad.

Yea, I would be mad too but that is when you think.... do you really need friends like that. I would reconsider my friendship with her and start looking for other options,
