My husband and I are almost like roomates. We do love each other - there is just no passion there. I've tried to spice things up - but between his work, and the football he watches, he is never "in the mood" it seems.
Last week, his friend came over. My husband was working late and was not home. I always thought there was "something" there between his friend Gary and me. We were alone , and I know its wrong - but we ended up kissing at first - then had mad passionate sex in the bedroom. I have never felt THAT alive - and that excited - in years. Gary left literally 10 minutes before my husband got home.
Since then - I have seen Gary every day...9 days in a row. Gary has a flexible schedule, so its very easy for him to stop by our house. He is married as well - but says he loves his wife, as I love my husband.
I KNOW cheating is wrong....
BUT...is it possible to have a loving marriage...and a lusty affair at the same time?
Does anyone else have both?

Reverse the situation--what would you do if you found out your husband was cheating on you with your best friend?
If your answer is "I'd join in", forget I answered your question.
But if your answer is something like "I'd leave him", think about the consequences if your husband ever found about your indiscretions.

I think your living proof that it is possible to have both. However nice, great and good your feeling now, you have to realize that this will not last and you are destroying your relationship between your husband and this man, along with his and your marriage when all this comes to light. It is very irresponsible and immature of you to try to justify your actions. The blame lies squarely on your shoulders, so enjoy for now because heartbreak and hurt is coming your way. I'm not wishing you any ill will. But anyone can see this outcome.

Geeez. Have enough class to get a divorce before you start another relationship.
I'd add that you should probably spend some time by yourself to reflect on what went wrong, and the idiot you are considering fooling around with doesn't have much self-esteem or class either.

Yes it's very simple - if you are a cold-blooded reptile sociopath who has no regard for the vows you yourself swore to.
If your husband was doing another woman, how would you feel?
Oh, yeah, that's right - you'd feel betrayed, abused, disrespected, sh*t on, vengeful, murderously angry, vindictive, spiteful, lied to, rejected, and hated.
Guess how your husband will feel the second he finds out you're dicking wonderful "Gary."
You creeps deserve each other, but stop making decisions for the other people in your lives - tell them so they can decide to stay with you snakes or not.

Bad idea! Your husbands friend?!?!? Wow! You realize men are territorial right? So Gary doing his friends wife because he doesn't? Not good. Cheating is never good! Even if you get away with it or end up happy in the end. work it out somehow. don't put yourself in that situation!

Ask yourself will this lust be worth it, if it was ever to get out. I know where you're coming from with how you feel, but you really have to sit a down and ask yourself would it really be wroth it. In the end..

I hope you don't have kids....they don't deserve such nasty parents. You say you love your husband and yet you are messing with his best friend and you are willing to cause such incredible pain to him and Gary's wife. I wonder about people like you because I could never be so
deceitful. Why is it that you can?

Doesn't anyone have any morals anymore? This is so ridiculous!! If you were unhappy with your marriage there is this thing called divorce!! How does cheating make things better? Do you feel better about your marriage after having sex with his best friend? No, you can't have your cake and eat it, too!!!

Your only headed for trouble. Eventually you may start to develop feelings for the person you are sleeping with-it is only natural-If I were you I would end it with one of them now to save the other relationship. It's up to you-do you want to be wanted, or do you want to live with your best friend? Best wishes!
