The Dallas Cowboys. They have also won five super bowls and scored the most touchdowns in history, and have made to the superbowls eight times but won five of them.

For a series of years, either the 49ers of the 80's and 90's (Montana and Young) or the 70's Steelers. I's just hard to compare teams from different eras because the rules of the game have changed so much.

For a single year, the 1985 Bears.

I’ll say the Pittsburg Steelers of the 70’s not only does everyone know their offensive stars Bradshaw, Harris, Swan, Stallworth, and Mike Webster (probably the best center of all-times), but their defense Ham, Lambert, Greene, Greenwood, Blount, Wagner, Russell, and Shell. This team played in a real competitive division (the Central with the Oilers, Bengals and Browns). As compared to the 80’s 49ers who had the (Falcons, Saints, Rams, and later the expansion Panthers) other then the Rams and the Saints a couple of years they had a cake walk).

A case can be made for the Packers of the late 60s, with Bart Starr, or the Dolphins of 1972, who were 17-0, including the Super Bowl. Because they were undefeated, I would go with the Dolphins.

Tough question. If you go by NFL championships and Super Bowl wins I'd pick the Packers.

Only one team has ever gone undefeated for a full season in the NFL, the 72 Dolphins. I would think that winning is the best measure of greatness, so there shouldn't be any arguement when only one team has ever gone undefeated. They are the best team in NFL history.
