Is there any way to convert jpegs into .icns files to use with candy bar ?

I downloaded candybar but the icons available are really poor, however i have some jpegs that would look great as desktop icons but candy bar does not allow you to use them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers.

Yes.
Many programs are available (such as) :

Just do a web search for "jpeg to icon".

MSPaint may do it.

Just load the jpg and Save as.

Candybar may accept other formats as well.
