this happens a whole lot. Does any1 have any tips on focusing in school or doing homework. I could really use some helpful advise

If your mind keeps wandering, it could be because you are not interested in the subject. If it is an elective class (not math or English or whatever) maybe you could change classes. If you have to take the class, you could ask your teacher for a seat up front or away from people you will talk to. For homework, always do it in a quiet place away from distractions like the TV. It also helps if you plan something to look forward to after you finish your homework.

If you're really having a difficult time, you may have attention deficit disorder. A psychiatrist will be able to diagnose you if you have it and help you figure out the best way of going about treating it.

If it's not all the time, and you're just trying to focus on things that are kind of boring, try making a game out of it. Or taking notes. Just the act of writing used to help me focus on what my teachers were saying.
