I am 31/2 months pregnant and yes, my back hurts and it is normal, your belly is growing and your spine has to accommodate extra weight, each week the baby grows more. Some days will be better and some days will be worse, and everyone is different.
Try not to pick up heavy things or bend down a lot, watch what you do, don't exert yourself or it will become worse.

My back ache is off and on through the entire pregnancy. For one, so slight stretches to keep the muscles loose. Also, try heating pads and ice packs rotating for about ten minutes each. My doctor also told me I could use icyhot to rub on my back, and that helped too, but I would check with your doctor first. Plus, maybe sleeping differently. My doctor also recommended a small back pillow on my chair at my office and not to stand for more than an hour at a time. I hope something helps! I know it's hard! OH and STAY HYDRATED! That makes a HUGE difference, I promise!

I am 6 months and it got so bad that I am now going to see a Physical Therapist.Mine prebably started at about 4 months.Nothing helped until seeing the PT.Maybe try a heating pad on your back or a nice warm-but not hot-bath to sooth your back.

Itd normal. Hot baths work well. You can also take half the recommended dose of tylenol but ask your doctor first to be safe. Heating pads are good but dont use vibrating massagers they arent good when you are pregnant but I dont know why that is.

Nip it in the bud, otherwise its only going to get worse as you get bigger. See a physio - mine recommended some Pilates based exercises which really helped.
